2026 Aviation Summer Camp
It takes a community of aviators to inspire the next generation of flight.
As we wrap up an incredible week of summer aviation camps, our hearts are full of gratitude. This camp would be completely grounded without the phenomenal community partners, sponsors, foundations, and volunteers who stepped up to make it a soaring success.
Please join us in thanking the incredible team that made this year unforgettable:
Partnering with the Aviation Museum of Kentucky, BWG welcomed 63 students to its annual aviation summer camps held July 6–7 and July 8–9.
As long-term supporters of our summer camps, Jim and Jan Bohannon and Larry and Mona Beam continue to make a lasting impact. We are deeply grateful for their ongoing dedication to giving children the chance to experience the wonder of aviation. Thanks to their incredible generosity, we can keep creating positive changes in our community year after year.
Launched at BWG in 2005, these aviation camps continue to inspire young people. By connecting students with local aviation groups and resources, the program helps them build a strong plan for their future.
BWG has a strong aviation community and dedicated veterans and volunteers who share their knowledge and history to engage youth in aviation’s future.
We cannot thank you enough for standing by us during these camps. Your kindness makes a big difference, and we hope to continue this great partnership for a long time.
