RUNWAY CLOSURE

Representatives with Scotty’s Construction are tentatively scheduled to be on Airport property from Monday, November 18th until Thursday, November 21st to perform work on the connectors of 3/21. As a result, we will need to shut down Runway 3/21. As you know, these projects and closures are contingent on weather and that dates/times are subject to change.

Runway 3/21 will be CLOSED from Monday, November 18th at 6:00 A.M. CST until Thursday, November 21st at 6:00 A.M. CST to all aircraft movement, including take-offs, landings, and taxiing.

Runway 12/30 will remain OPEN.

Office Closure

The Airport Manager’s Office will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 in observance of Thanksgiving. The FBO will be available to assist pilots and passengers and can be reached at 270-781-9797.

Construction NOTAMs

Pilots, Tenants and Airport Users: Please be advised! Taxiway Alpha Between A4 and A6 will be CLOSED until mid-December. A5 and A6 will be closed, A4 will remain open. We are sorry for any inconvenience. This is the first step in the Taxiway Alpha Reconstruction Project. See diagram- areas in red are currently closed. Please contact our office if you have any questions or concerns.  

Increased Charter Operations

It’s November- which means increased charter activity at BWG! WKU and opponents will be traveling in and out of BWG on various large charters throughout the next several months. Airport Tenants and users, please be mindful of the increase in air traffic and be aware of your surroundings at all times.
